Outdoor kitchen in Wharfedale, West Yorkshire

What a wonderful garden! Visitors are drawn in, intrigued to discover the little delights at the end of each meandering pathway. It is an unexpectedly balanced and cohesive space, a testament to North Leeds Garden Design’s expertise: modern outdoor living, structured planting, and bold geometry mingle harmoniously with unfussy wild borders, organic shapes, and secluded corners.

On the patio a dining area, a Grillo outdoor kitchen, and a wood-burning stove take centre stage – the latter resting on a circular paved inlay that mirrors a ring of blocks set into the lawn. Borders overflow with blue, purple and pink – salvias, verbena, alliums, yarrow, and brilliant sea holly – softened by swaying grasses and anchored by redbud trees. Columnar yews provide vertical structure, while a bench overlooking the lawn, bathed in evening sun, offers a tranquil spot to for a sundowner.
