Grillo Outdoor Kitchen on The Block 2025

Emma & Ben take their elevated alfresco to whole new level… with a Grillo outdoor kitchen! The fans’ favourite couple pulled out all the stops for this area, leveraging their elevated position to enhance their outdoor space. On the expansive merbau deck they fitted sofas, a dining table and a full Grillo kitchen. Darren declared it “an entertainer’s delight” and commented on the “really well fitted-out outdoor kitchen”. Marty thought it would have everything the buyers want going on: “From a marketing perspective, it’s pretty hard to fault.”

The marine-grade Grillo kitchen, taken left-to-right, features the following: the Drinks Station with its rosewood chopping board – it responds well to being dressed; even if you only fill it with tins of the local brew and sliced lemons, it stuns. Matching Blaze bar seating. A pizza oven from our fellow-Brit Tom Gozney. A Tarn sink over an outdoor fridge and bin cabinet – a great use of space, with the pipework fully concealed and out the way. A BBQ cabinet with an E&S Sirius grill (not the usual high-powered Bull – the show had to use specific grill, and Ben is handy with an angle grinder). And lastly, a log storage unit.

Emma & Ben are a popular couple on the show, and we were glad to help out. Friends since high school, they bought their first house nearly a decade ago, and have been flipping houses ever since. Both bring significant experience to the table – Ben is an engineer (and soon-to-be firefighter) and Emma a dance teacher (and a former woodwork teacher).
