Grillo’s Best Outdoor Kitchens of 2025 marks the third edition of our annual showcase, celebrating the projects that stood out most over the past year. Throughout 2025, we’ve designed and installed hundreds of outdoor kitchens, each one becoming the setting for countless meals, gatherings, and moments outdoors. From all of these, we’ve selected a collection of our favourite builds to inspire your own outdoor space.
1. Attleborough, Brecklands
Plenty of projects could have taken this spot, but this one kept coming out on top. Designed as a simple and cost-effective extension to the home, it’s a space made for hosting – with a louvred pergola, integrated heaters, and a central island perfect for gathering around. A genuinely timeless kitchen, and our standout project of 2025.
2. Tom Kerridge's Outdoor Kitchen
Tom Kerridge’s outdoor kitchen was designed as a working space, used to develop recipes for his restaurants, cookbooks, M&S collaborations – and now, his recipes with Grillo.
3. Wentworth Estate, Virginia Water
Set within the Wentworth Estate, this rare G-shaped outdoor kitchen is designed with entertaining in mind. Generous workspace, a considered shelter and a view over a lush green garden.
4. Hammersmith, London
This garden by Morgan Oates garden design is proof that urban gardens don’t have to be boring. A simple kitchen layout with a large dining table and plenty of space to spread out – it’s calm, practical and elegant.
5. Tweed Valley, Scottish Borders
It’s made the list before, it’ll make the list again… This year we revisited this outdoor kitchen – nestled beneath the grand sandstone archway of a balustraded double perron staircase leading down from the state rooms of this Scottish Baronial manor.
7. Ellenbrooke, Perth
This impressive outdoor kitchen in Australia has the perfect set up for entertaining. A Chef’s Anvil takes centre stage, surrounded by benches and plenty of bar seating – perfect for gathering friends and family.
8. Town Head Estate, Windermere
Sat on the residential side of a stunning wedding venue, this garden setup is centred around the Grillo Kitchen. The stand out feature… a striking Iroko canopy that matches the kitchen and overlooks the donkey sanctuary.
9. Soar Valley, Leicestershire
This wonderful house featured on Dezeen for its juxtaposition of Georgian design with a contemporary, pavilion-style extension. We were glad to provide the cherry.
10. Opossum Bay, Hobart
Renters at this Airbnb will have had a grandstand view of the last leg of the Sydney to Hobart race, as the competitors sail up the last leg to the finish line.
11. Yorkshire Wolds, East Riding
This is a wonderful interpretation of a mature traditional garden by Haddon Studios. A gardener’s garden, but one that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
12. Blackheath, London
This wonderful garden makeover by Garden Club London and Bakers Garden Buildings is perfect for year-round entertaining.
